Winfleece began during a bitterly cold winter in the northern United States. The founder—a man who prefers to walk around rather than stay indoors—realized that most of the coats out there were either too stiff or too flimsy, none of which were comfortable enough to wear to work or go out in or keep you warm when the cold wind blew in.

Thus the idea was born: a coat that could accompany you in every situation—from a busy morning commute to the office to an afternoon stroll around the park or a weekend getaway with friends. It had to be as soft as a hug, as warm as a cup of hot coffee, and as durable as the wearer’s spirit of exploration.

Winfleece was born from the belief that warmth should not be exchanged for restraint. Each coat here is designed to give you the confidence to step out, no matter how harsh the weather.
